A Lazy Day

Today we chilled. After a few hectic days shopping and sightseeing we figured we deserved a pool day. Plus, with messages from home reporting icy cold weather and bucket loads of rain it would have been rude not to sit in the (glorious) sunshine for a while.

/home/wpcom/public_html/wp-content/blogs.dir/fcb/80447574/files/2015/01/img_8960.jpgI finally finished a book I started reading when I was here in August, Sue Townsends ‘The Woman who went to bed for a year‘. Not a patch on Adrian Mole but I never like to give up on a book once I’ve started.

We also spent some time researching places to go when our friends Hannah and Rich come out to visit at the end of February for 2 weeks. We’re thinking a bit of island hopping taking in Krabi, Koh Phi Phi and Koh Lanta…it’s a work in progress.

I did try some rather interesting Scallop flavoured crisps, and by interesting I mean gross. I have learnt a valuable lesson; pay more attention when bowling round 7/11 chucking random things into Dave’s basket. But hey, they could have been delicious…
