A few weeks ago I told you all about our first Bangkok brunch experience in the post, Let’s do brunch. I also admitted how I’d been so excited I pretty much forgot to take any pictures and lets face it, the ones I did take were pretty suspect! We took my parents to the Red Oven at Sofitel So for brunch during their visit where I tried to remember to take some pictures with my new Olympus Pen E-PL7 camera. So here it is…as it should have been before I got too giddy!
Our second visit to Red Oven was as good as the first. We were seated in the window overlooking Lumpini Park which is just breathtaking. The range of food is amazing; Dave and I choosing all the western things we miss like bread, cold cuts and cheese, my parents going for all the Thai and eastern options!
The savoury selection
(I did miss taking pictures of the Japanese sections so I guess we’ll have to go again soon!)
The sweet selection
I did get very excited about the Banoffee Pie!
Of course mum and I had to have a candy floss!
Capturing the amazing view
Finishing dinner with some popcorn!
We had such a great time, it was lovely to take my parents to something so different and I think they really enjoyed it too!
