Review ~ The Coffee Club, Ekkamai

Since moving into town The Coffee Club in nearby Ekkamai has become our second home. This lovely Australian cafe serves everything to see you through from breakfast to a late night snack opening from 6.30am – 10.30pm. There is a huge drinks menu including much more than just coffee!

We do tend to come here for breakfast/brunch which is always delicious; Dave’s favourite is the Eggs Benedict with salmon, mine the poached eggs with bacon and avocado on ciabatta. Although last week I did expand my repertoire and sampled the French Toast which was so yummy…and huge, I couldn’t eat it all!

We recently came for dinner; Coffee Club serves both western and Thai food so it’s a great place to pop in for a quick bite in the evenings. I went for the Surf & Turf which was really good and reasonably priced. I can also recommend the Caesar salad which I had with grilled chicken as a vaguely healthier option! We have only tried dessert once which was a bit disappointing but to be honest we’re usually too full by the end of a meal here and the drinks are a sweet treat enough (check out the Creme Brûlée Frappe)!

This place is ace; the service is always great here, the staff are so friendly, the food always good and really reasonably priced. If you’re in the area definitely pop in for one of their awesome drinks and a bite to eat, it might just become your second home too!
