This week has been an odd one. We had a long weekend which meant we had the day off on Monday, then we all had the day off yesterday for constitution day, throw into the mix a horrendous cold and it’s been quite strange. I spent the majority of Tuesday and Wednesday in bed or under the duvet on the sofa catching up on British TV!
Last night we rampaged our way around a few shopping centres like people possessed ticking things off our christmas present list…we did a pretty good job but we will still have to hit the shops again next week for those last minute, elusive gifts!
Despite still suffering from the aftermath of a cold, I am so excited for this weekend because my wonderful cousin and her husband are flying in later today from Singapore! I can’t wait to hang out, catch up and eat and drink all weekend! If you fancy reading about the expat experience in Singapore, check out my cousins blog Singapore Cee.
Next week is our last week in school before we fly back to the UK for the holidays so there’s lots of christmas things planned! It’s great being here for my first christmas with all the lovely decorations and lights covering the city. Yesterday we got really festive and had a Turkey and Cranberry roll at Dean & Deluca!
Anyway, whatever you have planned for this weekend, have a lovely time!
