A Weekend In Singapore

Back in August, we had a long weekend for the Queen’s Birthday so we headed to Singapore to spend some time with my cousin and her husband. We had a fab time and have fallen in love with Singapore a little more! There was shopping (Sephora, Kikki K and Crate & Barrel), cocktails and a little bit of sightseeing!

I was really keen to do the Night Safari at Singapore Zoo which, unfortunately, in my opinion, was a bit of a letdown. Wrongly I’d assumed the animals would be nocturnal animals rather than just asleep… I adored the Cloud Forest Conservatory at Gardens by the Bay – you must do this if you’re in Singapore, it’s wonderful.

The weekend was also the introduction to Dim Sum at Din Thai Fung which has changed my life but anyway enough of my ramblings, I’ll let the pictures do the talking.

We’re heading back to Singapore in November for a music festival which I am really looking forward to!

Excellent write up ..I am feeling little nostalgic as I visited Singapore last year with family .Though Experience at Singapore itself was wonderful but as a tourist , I faced one major issue there which I have shared in my blog below so that no other tourist has to face the same and once can enjoy Singapore to the fullest !

One thing Definitely “NOT” to do while Planning for Singapore & Malaysia Vacations ! ( a 5 min must read)

The major blunder that we committed but you must avoid while planning a Singapore vacation – After all Smartness is learning from someone else’s mistakes !!
